Meet Quincy Chiropractor Dr. Mark Wiegand
Becoming a Chiropractic Believer
“When I was a teenager, I started to have problems with my peripheral vision. I couldn’t see anything to the right or the left in my vision field, and it was very frightening experience. I ended up going to see a local chiropractor, and after only one adjustment my vision returned to normal. I referred many patients to that doctor over the years.”
That was the first of many positive chiropractic experiences for Dr. Mark and one which shaped his future life in many ways.

Staying Active in Quincy
“When I was just 11, I read an Arnold Schwarzenegger magazine while visiting my cousin. Arnold’s views on fitness, diet and exercise made such an impression on me that I immediately began to work out. I ended up as a contender in natural bodybuilding competitions at the age of 18.” Dr. Mark has continued with his passion for weight training over the past four decades, and you can frequently catch him working out at the YMCA, Kroc Center, Snap Fitness, and Sheridan Swim & Fitness Club.
He and his wife, Lisa, have three children: Lucas, Logan and Olivia. A tight-knit family, they love to spend time outdoors fishing, swimming and riding bikes, and as parents, they attend many sports-related functions. Lisa was a former literacy coach, but now works in the practice full-time as the office manager.
